September 2010 Auditions ~
September 10, 2010 ~ It's TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) week and today I auditioned for Animal Planet's DocuDrama reinactement "Infestations" series about a woman (named Tammy) suffering from a spider bite. She is a medical assistant at a hospital in Oregon; kind, articulate and strong. She is renting a house with her teen son and new husband and has a terrible experience with a spider infestation. She has a bitten wound that is not healing. My agent referred audition time was for 3pm at (my former residence in the early 80s) the Sutton Place Hotel. (They were a bit late in arriving to their room on a now condo floor). They took some photos and we improved some scenes. The dress was business casual. The auditioners were Brits. (My agent is U.K. based).I may have to colour my hair back to brunette (right now I'm a flaming redhead from a recent Fiorio hair model cut & colour) for a shoot this Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday had my annual Yves St Laurent makeup session at Holts and following professional photo session. My wardrobe was from my late mother's Winners collection and Stuart Weitzman shoes. The vintage scarf was donated from my women's co-op.

If you can bring 8 different tops, two pairs of pants and a pair of pyjamas. We'll be dying your hair that dye with our hair and make-up professional. Also, here is the script. There is no dialogue so no need to memorize lines - it's just a sense of what scenes we are filming.
